Edward Elgar

Edward Elgar (1857-1934) - an English classical composer. He is one of the most popular composers in the UK. His famous "Enigma Variations" contains very popular movement Variation IX (Adagio) "Nimrod". Trio from "Pomp and Circumstance" March No. 1 in D also known in the UK as song "Land of Hope and Glory" (as part of Elgar's "Coronation Ode" and as a separate song), and in the USA as "Pomp and Circumstance" where it is widely used for graduation ceremonies.
